Synch Connector Installation on X-2 housing

INON Inc. will provide X-2 user optional modification to add two Nikonos 5 pin type synch connector from May 26th, 2006. This modification enables X-2 housing to connect compatible external strobe(s) via electrical cable (*1).

(*1)This modification uses camera's "PC terminal" to take strobe synch signal out. So the optional synch connector wiring is [Ｘ synch only].
When connecting external strobe to this optional synch connector, there may be operational limitation(s) of the strobe.

  • "S-TTL/TTL Auto" is unusable.
  • Shutter linked Focus Light turning ON function is unusable.
