    (*1)
Contact Olympus Imaging Corp. for detail of camera/protector. INON Inc. confirms product compatibility based on a camera/housing available in Japan.

    (*2)
Olympus [PT-EP01] has a fiber optics adapter for underwater use and above listed INON fiber optics product is directly plugged in the adapter.

Arm System Compatibility with [E-PL1]/[PT-EP01](*1)

Two optional products below are compatible to attach INON strobe/LED flashlight system on the camera system.

  • [Grip Base D4](*3)(*4)
    --available in the market
    --JAN code : 456212143 430 1

  • [Shoe Base](*5)
    --available in the market
    --JAN code : 456212143 356 4

The Grip Base D4 has innovative and unique structure to attach a strobe/LED flashlight on more than 80 different underwater housings and is compatible with wide variety of different length/type of INON [Arm II System] to install a strobe. The Shoe Base is directly attached on the hot-shoe of the underwater housing to set up compact system.
    (*3)
The [D Holder] of the [Grip Base D4] is for left side use only. When attaching on the right hand side of the housing, the D Holder part may be touched on the back of your right hand.

    (*4)
When using 「D-2000」 strobe attached on the housing via [Grip Base D4]+[Z Joint] only, total camera system underwater will give you 10g/0.4oz positive buoyancy. So additional accessory would be recommended to get slightly negative buoyancy for the sake of safety.

    (*5)
When attaching strobe/LED flashlight only on the underwater housing hot-shoe via [Shoe Base],camera system will have positive buoyancy at 100g/3.5oz. So using optional balance weight from camera manufacture would be recommended to get negative buoyancy for the sake of safety.
